I am a licensed clinical psychologist and I love it. It’s the most rewarding work I could do with my life. I work with children, teens, young adults, and the elderly. I have the privilege of working with diverse ethnic, cultural, and national groups. I’ve counseled people from all walks of life. All of this provides a depth of experience and context that informs all parts of my practice. My greatest reward as a psychologist is making a difference in people’s lives… one person, one family at a time.
I received my Doctorate with Distinction in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I hold three Masters; a Masters of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University; a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, and a Masters in General Psychology from New York University. I did my undergraduate work in Fine Arts at New York University. I am the Supervising Psychologist for Family & Children’s Services of Nantucket and my clinical experience Includes Columbia University’s Center for Psychoanalytic Training & Research, Richmond University Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, Gay Men’s Health Crisis, and the Bellevue Hospital Center. I am a Visiting Scholar at Teachers College – Columbia University and a Clinical Instructor at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
I provide psychotherapeutic treatment, counseling, psychodiagnostic testing, and evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Please take the time to examine my Curriculum Vitae. It will provide you more detail about my clinical and community work, research, teaching, and presentations.
